Third Annual Cupcakes for a Cause™:New Yorkers Find A Sweet Way to Help Kids Affected by Cancer
New York, NY, September 12, 2006—From October 16 – October 22, 2006, leading New York City bakeries will team up with local parents and kids for the third annual Cupcakes for a Cause™ supporting children affected by cancer. Participating bakeries will sell cupcakes of all flavors, with all proceeds benefiting CancerCare for Kids®, which provides free, professional support services to over 1,000 children affected by cancer each year. Sponsors of this event include General Mills and Stride Rite.
