Devil Wears Prada cupcake at Cake in a Cup, Toledo, Ohio

There’s a new Ohio bakery opening this fall called Cake in a Cup in Toledo. I’m reposting their menu below - flavors include mandarin orange, pb&j, snickerdoodle, monkey business (banana cake with chocolate chips) and, yes, devil wears prada (dark devil’s food cake with a bittersweet truffle center).

There’s some more info in this Toledo Free Press article:
Jacobs claims an addiction to one specialty, a dark chocolate expresso cupcake made with Italian cream-cheese filling, dark-chocolate ganache frosting and a dark-chocolate-covered espresso bean.
Iliev said every recipe is unique, and the presentation of their product is “very different.”
“The possibilities are totally endless,” she said. “Conservative baking is all you get in Toledo now. We’re setting ourselves apart.”
The emporium will begin by offering 25 cupcake flavors, a full espresso bar, “grab and go” food items, a light weekend brunch, a variety of beverages and limited seating and delivery service.
